I went to Tennessee over the weekend. Did you see me on TV? I was the one in Neyland Stadium wearing the orange poncho. The trip was a small blip of good, filled with the times I would love to remember but always tend to forget.
I'm a little down in the mouth today. My gut tels me I blew my interview this morning. The all-important, self-defining, life-changing sort of interview and I blew it. I got all dressed up, killed my feet in three inch heels, put on makeup, and lipstick, and even mascara, and I blew it.
I've been waiting for a number of days for the bright side of life to make its appearance on the horizon. Waiting for those opportunities to sieze and those moments to remember. Waiting for the phone to ring and the other side to take me to dinner and tell me I look pretty.

I'm irritated, and I'm tired, and I just saw a HUGE roach crawl out of my sink and into the cabinet below. I have this overwhelming urge to punch something, hard. Why is it that 102 little things can go right in your day, but the really important things always go horribly wrong? Oh wait, that's just the way things happen for me, not anyone else. I feel like my life is some punchline to a cruel, little joke.

Oh, and, Happy Birthday Krisit!

"One day I'll fly away, leave all this to yesterday. Why live life from dream to dream, and dread the day when dreaming ends?"
